The Artisan Bespoke 003 combines dual layers of calico springs with 100% Natural breathable fibres, to regulate body temperature and create a comforting cool sleep surface. Featuring a huge 5600GSM of upholstery fillings.
This mattress has a medium feel with a soft slow sink in the upper Comfort Layers. The 2508 twin Pocket Spring unit gives lively medium support. Making it excellent for sleepers that tend to move around a lot or have a pain condition where you need to move to adjust.
The combined upholstery weight by GSM [Grams per Square Metre] in a mattress is a good indicator of who is giving you more filling for your money. The Artisan Bespoke 003 has three rows of genuine Hand Side Stitching and the Pocket Springs are Hand-Nested. 8 padded turning handles on the Kingsize with our insignia embroidered on them.
The mattress has been traditionally hand tufted with woollen tufts. This mattress is covered in our white woven 100% Viscose with subtle John Ryan design. Our woven mattress cover is completely Chemical Free

Our John Ryan Artisan Pocket Spring bases are 12″ in depth plus 2″ for Shepherd Castors making them 14″ in total.
Spring edging can be looked upon as a mini mattress between the main mattress and the base. It offers progressive support that dampens the strain of weight from the user. This significantly improves the overall comfort level of a mattress. This difference in comfort is often described as ‘Softer’ which is quite an incorrect term to use.
The drawers on the Artisan bases are 32″ wide, 20″ deep and 7″ high.
You can have 2 or 4 drawer options. If using bedside tables you may want to have 2 full size and 2 continental drawers so the drawers next to the bedside tables can be opened fully.
